Abstract
This research seeks to investigate Thoughts, Approach and Negative Impact of Boko Haram. The research also investigate the Objectives of Boko Haram, Nigerian Diversity in Brief, the Genesis of Boko Haram Islamic Movement in Nigeria: A Trail of Blood, how Boko Haram attracted more members, how Boko Haram exposed to international arena, the beginning of War for revenge and survival, Muhammed Yusuf (the founder of Boko Haram), theChronicle of AbubakarShekau, Condemnation of Boko Haram activities during its first reign, Boko Haram Funding and Source of Income. It also investigate thenegative impact of Boko Haram on Migration and displacement, education, food and nutrition, health, shelter, mortality, economic production, agricultural production, infrastructural development, poverty, conflict and gender issues. This section will discussed the Negative Impact of Boko Haram activities and the lesson to be derived from that. The paper recommended that: the Nigerian government should seek help from the international community so as to curb the menace of the Boko Haram, the Nigerian government should introduce state police so as to easily locate and identify the Boko Haram elements and informers among the civilians and easily dealt heavenly with them.
