Abstract
Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) have revolutionized modern software development practices, enabling teams to deploy applications faster and with higher reliability. In distributed systems, where multiple nodes collaborate across networks, CI/CD pipelines help ensure consistency, automate deployments, and mitigate human errors. This paper explores the architectural design, challenges, and best practices of implementing CI/CD in distributed environments. The study highlights how automation tools, containerization, and orchestration frameworks enhance scalability and maintainability in distributed infrastructures. Furthermore, it discusses security implications, testing strategies, and future research directions to optimize continuous delivery in large-scale distributed systems.
