Abstract
Distributed network management has become increasingly complex due to the proliferation of devices and the need for real-time decision-making. Multi-Agent Systems (MAS) offer a decentralized approach to address these challenges by enabling autonomous agents to collaborate and manage network resources efficiently. This paper explores the application of MAS in distributed network management, focusing on their architecture, communication protocols, and coordination mechanisms. We present case studies demonstrating the effectiveness of MAS in various network scenarios, including load balancing, fault detection, and resource allocation. The findings suggest that MAS can enhance the scalability, robustness, and adaptability of network management systems.
