Abstract
The TKT Course: Young Learner Module is a comprehensive book for teachers and trainee teachers who are preparing for the test. It also provides a valuable resource for all teachers of young learners aged 6 to 12 and trainers who are working in this context. The book provides full coverage of the test content and is divided into four parts which match the order of the syllabus: 1. Knowledge of young learners and principles of teaching English to young learners; 2. Planning and preparing young learner lessons; 3. Teaching young learners; 4. Assessing young learner learning through classroom-based assessment. Throughout the book teachers are encouraged to analyse the theories, approaches and activities in their own contexts, supporting them to improve their classroom practice.
