Abstract
This is a study on designing a foldable classroom desk-chair. The classroom desk-chair is a one-piece table and chair furniture. The existing desk-chairs are rigid thus it is space consuming and hinders ease in transport. This study focuses in designing a product with the incorporation of ergonomic designing rules, materials analysis, manufacturability, etc. In this study the CATIA CAD/CAM/CAE software has been used and proven to be powerful in the field of product design.
