Abstract
Technology advances in leaps and bounds every day creating gaps and questions in policy and law which must be addressed by the State in order to protect itself and its people from any form of abuse or consequential effect brought upon by said advancement. The use of drones has steadily been on the rise in the global stage as not only for military utilization but also for recreational purposes as well and the Philippines must be prepared for any questions in law and policy that this may bring about. To achieve competitiveness and preparedness for such advancements, a study on existing drone laws found in other countries must be done in analogy to the current laws of the country to create its own drone specific law.
