Abstract
Malaki ang pagbabago at epekto ng pandemya sa buhay ng bawat indibidwal sa lipunan. Maliban sa politikal, ekonomikal, sosyal, at pisikal na epekto nito, matindi ang epekto ng pandemya at lockdown sa mental na pag-iisip ng mga tao. Bagamat maraming pinsalang dinala ang pandemya sa lipunan, nakapaghatid naman ito ng mga pagbabago at pag-unlad partikular sa usapin ng midya. Isa na rito ang pag-usbong ng mga Filipino podcast sa Spotify ngayong pandemya. Upang mapag-aralan ang penomena ng mga Filipino podcast ngayong pandemya, sinuri sa pananaliksik na ito ang limang Filipino podcast: (1) Sleeping Pill w/Inka, (2) Adulting with Joyce Pring, (3) Walwal Sesh w/Doc Gia, Renz, and Vino, (4) Small Talk! with Alec Cuenca, at (5) Wake Up with Jim & Saab. Ginamit na gabay ang Channel Expansion Theory (CET) at PodCred Analysis Framework para sa pagsusuri. Mula sa pagsusuri ng isang episode ng limang Filipino podcast, natuklasang nagmumula ang pagiging mayaman ng isang midyum, katulad ng podcast sa paraan ng paggamit at halaga nito sa buhay ng mga tao sa lipunan.
