Abstract
This paper engages the concept of Henry Jenkins’ Convergence culture and how it subconsciously affected the three media outputs I co-produced during my time as a graduate student. Focusing on the aspects of Convergence culture, namely the renewed relationship between the consumer and the producer, participatory culture, collective intelligence, and knowledge communities, I reflect on my experiences producing the three media outputs while being bound to this environment and aspects, discussing its positive, negative factors, and its limitations. I also discuss how Convergence culture changes under a specific national context, exploring how putting it under a Philippine context transformed its positive factors and aspects into a negative one.
