Abstract
Kung Syno Syno is a feature film that will run for twelve minutes. The concept was born out of the idea that, for many, there are times when one wonders what it would be like to live life under different circumstances because of one’s experiences in this world, and other factors ultimately determine such experiences. The intricate interplay of these factors intersect in intricate ways and is the foundational underpinning of an individual's life journey– ranging from personal choices and opportunities to external forces such as societal norms, cultural influences, and economic conditions– they coalesce to construct the unique narrative of one's existence. The film's thematic foundation lies in recognizing this intricate interplay and its profound impact on the course of one's life. In order to set the scene, the film employs the concept of multiverse as a symbol for the different intersecting factors that place a specific group at a disadvantage. It takes on a lighter treatment to capture the audience’s attention and to make the topic more digestible for the viewers. By delving into alternate realities within the multiverse, the film aims to illuminate the systemic factors that place certain groups at a disadvantage. It becomes a lens through which the audience can reflect on the complexities of privilege, societal structures, and the often-unseen forces that shape one’s fate. MP4 format
