Abstract
The study highlights the importance of inspiring young children during their formative years— to be confident, dream big, and explore activities outside of their comfort zones. In the current digital landscape, where children are immersed in technology, there is a need for shows and programs that nurture their social development. In the Philippines, as many children turn to their gadgets for recreation, MaCOOLilits aims to offer engaging content that entertains audiences while also showcasing the importance of fostering their dreams, teaching moral values, and developing their social skills. The series is designed to supplement formal education by encouraging curiosity and channeling their adventurous side through an accessible children’s program. The Web Series consists of two episodes featuring three children exploring one of their friend’s dream jobs: a dancer and a chef. Each episode includes an activity related to their featured career, guided by a mentor making it entertaining and enriching for kids. Alongside this, confessional-style interviews with the children are integrated into the show, allowing them to share their thoughts and experiences, making the content more relatable and understandable for the audience. The vibrant visuals and playful editing were incorporated into the series to keep the direction of the show light and energetic for its target audiences. This project’s clips were produced and filmed in person for a consistent quality of cinematography in a MOV Format. This format was chosen to maintain the high resolution and accessibility of the footage across various platforms.
