Abstract
This study explores the role of social media, specifically Facebook, as a communication and engagement tool for the Pasig Bowling Association (PBA), a nonprofit sports organization established in 1979.
The study is guided by Daft, Lengel, & Trevino (1987); Frasca & Edwards (2017), Media Richness Theory (MRT) in highlighting the need for rich communication features, and the Saxton & Waters (2014) framework for social media functions. The project evaluates the effectiveness of various social media content in enhancing engagement among youth audiences.
