Abstract
The COVID-19 pandemic has brought much disruption around the world. The pandemic has not only become a public health crisis but has also affected the global economy. Due to the extensive health measures that the government implemented, employees have to work remotely to keep their companies running. With limited literature on leadership during a pandemic, the purpose of this study is to understand the effect of task-oriented and relation-oriented leadership style on employee work performance in Chinese-Filipino Christian Schools in Quezon City during the COVID-19 pandemic. Data were collected from 173 employees of Jubilee Christian Academy and Grace Christian College via questionnaires, incorporating leadership style behavior and employee performance variables during the COVID-19 pandemic, and assessing possible relationships among these variables.
