Abstract
Bu çalışmada, Karadeniz Bölgesinde az sayıdaki jeotermal kaynaktan birisi olan Fatsa İlçesi, Ilıca Köyü sınırları içerisinde bulunan, Sarmaşık Kaplıcası termal tesisinde radon gazı ölçümleri yapılmıştır. Kaplıca havuz ortamı, resepsiyon, restoran olmak üzere üç kısımda hava ortamında Cr-39 ve Alpha GUARD PQ 2000 radon dedektörleri yaz ve kış mevsiminde radon gazı ölçümleri yapılmıştır. Yapılan ölçüm sonucunda elde edilen radon gazı değerleri kullanılarak kaplıca ortamında çalışan personel için yıllık etkin doz eşdeğerleri hesaplanmıştır. Ayrıca kaplıca suyu ve kaplıca tesisi içme suyunda radon gazı ölçümü yapılmıştır. Ölçüm sonuçları uluslararası limit seviyeleri ile karşılaştırılmıştır.
