Osmanlı araştırmalarının zengin ve çok yönlü bir kaynak grubunu teşkil eden terekelere odaklanan kitap, 7-9 Eylül 2022 tarihlerinde İstanbul Medeniyet Üniversitesi ev sahipliğinde gerçekleştirilen III. Uluslararası Osmanlı Araştırmaları Kongresi (OSARK) kapsamında Kenan Yıldız tarafından düzenlenen Terekeler Neyi Derler? başlıklı dört özel oturumun bir ürünü olarak literatüre girmiş bulunmaktadır.
