The Persian language came to the subcontinent with the Muslim rulers, but it was the “Sufis” of the subcontinent who did more to promote it. “Sufis” wrote books in the local languages ​​of the subcontinent as well as Persian. The series of this literary contribution continued in every age. Syed Muhammad Muqeem Mohkam Ud Din (RA) is such a personality. Syed Muhammad Muqeem is one of the Sufis of the 11th century Hijri who played an excellent role in the promotion of Islamic teachings. He compiled a book called “Dur Al-Ajaib” in Persian for religious guidance, which still serves as a guide for the followers of “Tariqat”. In this article, the life history of Syed Muhammad Muqeem and his book Dur Al-Ajaib is briefly introduced and reviewed.
