Abstract
Dr. Aslam Ansari is a prominent contemporary Urdu poet. He has not only shown creative excellence in Urdu but has also written excellent poetry in Persian, English and Saraiki. His second recognition as a critic, especially as an expert on Iqbal, is that he has managed to create a credible name among Iqbal's critics by writing five valuable works on the subject of Iqbal. But he did not limit himself to these two angles. There is great diversity in Aslam Ansari's fields of study. Let's say that these dimensions are far-reaching and their understanding is very deep. This is the reason why he did not limit himself to the above-mentioned two aspects, but also tried seriously to other academic and literary aspects and appeared in front of us in different positions. In such positions, one of his reliable positions is that of translation. In this article, the same poision has been critically discussed.
