Abstract
El modelo educativo en ciencias de la salud es el resultado del vínculo del modelo sanitario y el modelo de educación superior que se han desarrollado en las condiciones históricas de Cuba y se basa en sus principios y fundamentos. La formación de profesionales de las ciencias médicas cubanas está acorde con lo señalado por el Comandante en Jefe Fidel Castro: “Capital Humano implica no solo conocimientos, sino también y muy especialmente conciencia, ética, solidaridad, sentimientos verdaderamente revolucionarios, espíritu de sacrificio, heroísmo y la capacidad de hacer mucho con poco”.
