Abstract
В статье рассматриваются языковые особенности лексики сферы киберспорта как разновидности современного сленга русского языка. В процессе исследования был проведен анализ современного сленга киберспортсменов, выявлены его словообразовательные разновидности и тематические группы, изучена этимология единиц. Лексика игровой индустрии в данном исследовании классифицируется как локальная и глобальная. В качестве основных особенностей лексики киберспорта авторы статьи выделяют тематическое многообразие; главенствующую позицию англицизмов, в разной степени адаптированных к русскому языку; неупорядоченность словарного фонда; вариативность и сниженный характер языковых единиц. В заключении определены основные направления для дальнейшего исследования данного пласта лексики.
