Abstract
Interest in Georgian literature and culture in the West has increased especially since the 19th century. Many writers and scientists visited Georgia to get to know the great culture of the small country. Most of them lived in Georgia for years, some found their permanent residence here. The list of loyal friends of Georgia is extremely large and multifaceted. We have only touched on a few, and that too in fragments, including Hungary's Mihály Zichy, Germany's Arthur Leist, and England's Waldrop brothers.
