Abstract
Infantile rickets is a disease that has existed since time immemorial, the most common among young children. In young children, rickets causes skeletal deformities and disrupts all types of metabolism, which significantly worsens the course of other diseases. In preschool and school age, hypovitaminosis D manifests itself in the form of muscle hypotension, insufficient mineralization and softening of tubular bones, and in adults - in the form of osteoporosis.
