Abstract
The levels of $^{83}\mathrm{Kr}$ were studied from the decay of both $^{83}\mathrm{Rb}$ and $^{83}\mathrm{Br}$. Thirteen $\ensuremath{\gamma}$ rays were observed in the decay of $^{83}\mathrm{Rb}$ and eight in the decay of $^{83}\mathrm{Br}$. The ground-state $M2$ transition from the 562-keV level was observed to have a branching ratio of 1.4 \ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{} ${10}^{\ensuremath{-}4}$. The conversion coefficients were measured for the 9.39 keV and for the 32.2-keV transition. Decay schemes are presented and the possible spins, parities, and structure for the levels of $^{83}\mathrm{Kr}$ are discussed.RADIOACTIVITY $^{83}\mathrm{Rb}$, $^{83}\mathrm{Br}$ measured ${E}_{\ensuremath{\gamma}}$, ${I}_{\ensuremath{\gamma}}$, ${I}_{ce}$, $\ensuremath{\gamma}\ensuremath{\gamma}$, deduced ICC. $^{83}\mathrm{Kr}$ deduced levels, $J$, $\ensuremath{\pi}$, $\ensuremath{\Lambda}$.
