<!-- @page { margin: 2cm } --> <p class="western" align="justify">Os experimentos foram realizado nas dependências do Laboratório de Fitopatologia da Universidade Federal de Goiás, no ano de 1997. Os fungos <em>Fusarium</em> e <em>Pythium sp.</em> foram cultivados em meio de cultura artificial contendo benomyl e PCNB nas concentrações de 10, 25, 50 e 100ppm. Os crescimentos radiais dos fungos demonstraram que o benomyl foi eficiente contra o <em>Fusarium</em>, mas não surtiu efeito contra o <em>Pythium</em>, fato este também observado em relação ao PCNB. Este produto, embora menos eficiente, reduziu em mais de 50% o crescimento radial de <em>Fusarium</em>, obtendo uma redução progressiva com o aumento da concentração.</p> <p class="western" align="justify">PALAVRAS-CHAVE: <em>Fusarium</em>; <em>Pythium</em>; benomyl; quintozene.</p>

The fungi <em>Fusarium</em> moniliforme and <em>Pythium</em> <em>sp.</em> were treated in cultural medium with benomyl and PCNB in the concentrations of 10, 25, 50 e 100ppm. The radial growth of the fungi demonstrated that benomyl was efficient against <em>Fusarium</em>, but not against <em>Pythium sp</em>. The same was also observed with PCNB. Although less efficient than benomyl, this product reduced radial growth of <em>Fusarium</em> in more than 50%.
