Abstract
İslâm tarihiyle ilgili muhtelif çalışmalarıyla tanınan Adnan Demircan’ın bu eseri, bir giriş, iki ana bölüm, bibliyografya ve indeksten oluşmaktadır. Yazar bu çalışmasında, İslâm tarihinde “ikinci fitne dönemi” olarak isimlendirilen zaman diliminde yaşanan siyasi olayları incelemiş, kitabın amacının bu dönemde yaşayan Hz. Hasan ve Hz. Hüseyin’in hayatları ve siyasi mücadelelerinin aydınlatılması olduğunu belirtmiştir.
