Abstract
Este artículo presenta los resultados de un proyecto de grado sobre patología de pavimentos articulados, el cual fue elaborado con el propósito de hacer una recolección de los deterioros típicos de los pavimentos articulados construidos con adoquines de concreto o de ladrillo; y de esta forma, elaborar un catálogo de deterioros para este tipo de estructuras que facilitará la identificación y cuantificación de los deterioros en una inspección visual. El segundo propósito de este proyecto, es la formulación para Colombia de una metodología que permita determinar el Índice de Condición de las estructuras de pavimentos articulados.
This article presents the results of a thesis on pathology of interlocking pavements, which objective was to make a compilation of typical damages of interlocking pavements constructed with concrete or brick pavers and, in this way, to elaborate a catalogue of damages for this kind of structures which will make the identification and quantification of deteriorations possible in a visual inspection. The second purpose of this project is the formulation of a methodology which allows determining the Index of pavement conditions for Colombia.
