Abstract
Neste artigo são apresentados resultados parciais de pesquisa sobre o desempenho escrito de alunos universitários. A maioria deles tem grande dificuldade de escrever e isso se expressa claramente nos textos que recebemos nas aulas de redação Oriundos de cursos diferentes, o ní- vel de qualidade dos textos desses alunos varia de acordo com a área que escolheram. Uma vez que a maior parte deles vêm de cursinhos pré-vestibulares, resolvemos observar nesses locais como essa prática se dá e em que medida esse fato contribui para formar o nível de produção escrita apresentada pelos alunos universitários.
