Abstract
La perspectiva tradicional de aplicación de los estudios literarios al teatro ha consistido en el análisis del texto dramático como punto de partida, lo que ha promovido la consideración de la actuación como su representación. Esta perspectiva presenta inconvenientes que derivan en la indefinición teórica, artística y técnica de la actuación. El presente trabajo se propone analizar la pertinencia
de los estudios literarios en la investigación sobre la Actuación a partir del análisis de los conceptos de representación y mimesis aristotélica y de los problemas que acarrea la aplicación de estos conceptos en el análisis de la acción del actor en escena.
