Abstract
Falar sobre o tema que nos foi sugerido é falar do próprio fazer do profissional da Educação no sentido de que todo orientador educacional é antes de tudo um educador. Como tal, exerce um ato político, entendido como atividade social, que se desenvolve em função do bem comum estabelecendo uma relação de autoridade, assegurada, geralmente, pela direita. Esta ação busca adesão de pessoas ou grupos a determinados propósitos. Nossa preocupação neste debate é compreender o significado da ação pedagógica enquanto ação política, situando aí a prática do orientador educacional — 0E.
