managing antarctic data-a practical use case

Scientific data management is performed to ensure that data are curated in a manner that supports their qualified reuse. Curation usually involves actions that must be performed by those who capture or generate data and by a facility with the capability to sustainably archive and publish data beyond an individual project’s lifecycle. The Australian Antarctic Data Centre is such a facility.
