Abstract
El artículo constituye una sistematización de los conocimientos teóricos - prácticos acerca del VIH/SIDA y su prevención en el municipio Santiago de Cuba, tomando como base el comportamiento de este problema social y las experiencias en el tratamiento preventivo por parte de los sujetos del sistema de prevención social en diferentes comunidades del territorio, para lo cual partimos de una perspectiva multidisciplinaria donde participan: Sociólogos, Psicólogos y Médicos, con el objetivo de hacer más efectiva la labor preventiva en esta dirección.
