Abstract

O fascínio por retomar modos artísticos históricos tem impulsionado a elaboração de estilos e estéticas na dança. Buscando formar uma tradição e, ao mesmo tempo, se inserirem no tempo, tais empreendimentos postulam o que podemos chamar de 'genealogias construídas', ou seja,  mediações expressivas entre passado e presente.  Neste artigo, procuro debater essas genealogias por meio do estudo de recentes  reinterpretações da dança grega.
