Abstract
The paper presents the performance tests results of plough shares without and with overlays. During the tests the relationship between the single plough shares wear and the plough operation time was watched. Using the in this way determined time behaviour of wear and the basic economical materials the average renovation and operation costs for each used plough share were calculated. Using this criterion it is easy to compare single technical-economical solutions.
