Abstract
Tuntutan komunikasi nirkabel yang handal dan kapasitas sistem yang tinggi tidak terlepas dari ketersediaan resource berupa spektrum frekuensi yang cukup. Penelitian pada tugas akhir ini adalah simulasi penerapan mekanisme spectrum sharing pada arsitektur radio kognitif terdistribusi menggunakan metode spectrum sharing rule C. Pada tugas akhir ini juga dilakukan analisis perbandingan hasil antara alokasi kanal secondary user tanpa spectrum sharing dan dengan menggunakan specrum sharing. Hasil simulasi yang didapat yaitu mekanisme spectrum sharing rule C menghasilkan alokasi kanal bagi secondary user yang bebas konflik satu sama lain dengan jumlah kanal yang didapat dijamin melebihi dari Poverty Line mereka. Hasil simulasi juga menunjukkan bahwa dengan menggunakan spectrum sharing nilai Spectrum Utilization dan Fairness sistem lebih besar dari pada alokasi kanal secondary user tanpa sepectrum sharing. Efisiensi peningkatan maksimum mencapai 28,5% untuk Spectrum utilization dan 30,3% untuk Fairness.
