Abstract
In the system of the Ecuadorian public health there are many flaws to the attention in the medical consultation of patients, due to the shortage of human resources in the medical profession, the attendance of patients and lack of staff to the organization of information, these events occur daily in the medical sub-centers, hospitals; more over the deficiency is in the Hospitals of the Ecuadorian Institute of Social Security. The patient must make huge queues and wait for hours to be served, even in medical circumstances that require a basic query for treatment, this occurs mostly in the population of low-income people; They must travel to take a turn for places far from medical centers. Today, with advances in information technology and communication can improve these services so that you can make a virtual medical consultation where the patient can perform a medical consulting with any health professional online, through cellular services; to cover the entire population requires. The Technical University of Babahoyo help with this health service as a liaison with the community and professionals of the Faculty of Health Sciences.
