Abstract
In one of the graves of the necropolis from the site of Poble Nou (Villajoyosa, Alicante) a small pottery jar was found, which outside walls showed a singular decorative painting full of funeral symbols. This research entails a meticulous study of the painted decorations expressed in the container and to try to find out its meaning. The iconography reading of these drawings reveals the assumption of the Mediterranean influence by the Iberians, uncovering their belief in the life after death (Live beyond death).
