Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa melalui penggunaan media sederhana dalam penerapan prinsip korologi pada materi tenaga endogen bagi siswa SMP Swasta Budi Agung Medan. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII-2 dengan jumlah 42 orang. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan lembar observasi dan tes hasil belajar kemudian dianalisis secara diskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Ada peningkatan aktivitas belajar siswa melalui penggunaan media sederhana dalam penerapan prinsip korologi pada materi tenaga endogen sebesar 33,34%, dan (2) Ketuntasan belajar siswa telah tercapai baik secara TPK/KD (80%), individual (88,1%) maupun secara klasikal (88,1%).
