Abstract
La comunicación interna tiene entre sus grandes beneficios, el aumento de la transparenciainformativa en la institución donde tiene lugar la misma con niveles satisfactorios. Paraanalizar el caso del Ayuntamiento de El Puerto de Santa María, una vez contextualizada lacomunicación interna como herramienta de transparencia, se realizó, en primer lugar, unestudio de la misma haciendo uso de un diagnóstico comparativo con otras administracionespúblicas; en segundo lugar, un análisis y extrapolación de las conclusiones aplicables anuestro caso de estudio; y por último y en tercer lugar, se profundizó con un análisis de lanecesidad/oportunidad de acometer un programa de mejora en el ayuntamiento objeto deestudio, analizando los beneficios-objetivo, y lo recomendable de configurar su plan decomunicación interna./Internal communication has great benefits, such as the improvement in informationtransparency within the organization where it takes place. Dealing with the concrete case ofEl Puerto de Santa María City Council, once contextualized inner communication as a vehiclefor transparency, several researches were done. First of all, it was carried out a comparativediagnosis to the rest of civil services. Secondly, an analysis, extrapolation and application of the reached conclusions were done. Lastly, in third place, we performed a deeper analysis onthe need and opportunity for an improvement program within the City Council, analyzingthe benefits and targets as well as taking into account how suitable it is for the organizationto design an inner communication plan.
