Abstract
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 6pt; text-align: justify;">Conectividade e informa&ccedil;&atilde;o s&atilde;o tend&ecirc;ncias pr&oacute;xima d&eacute;cada. <span>&nbsp;</span>Junto com ela h&aacute; dois fatores que quando combinados extrapolam a exposi&ccedil;&atilde;o do ser humano a situa&ccedil;&otilde;es onde m&uacute;ltiplas tarefas s&atilde;o executadas. Esses fatores colabora&ccedil;&atilde;o e cogni&ccedil;&atilde;o (humana). Este artigo discute como a distra&ccedil;&atilde;o humana &eacute; afetada pelo uso intensivo, e at&eacute; &agrave;s vezes compulsivo, da tecnologia. Estudos indicam que uma pessoa dirigindo e conversando simultaneamente ao celular tem sua aten&ccedil;&atilde;o dividida, e conseq&uuml;entemente, ela fica quatro vezes mais sujeita a causar ou se envolver num acidente de tr&acirc;nsito. <span>&nbsp;</span>A cogni&ccedil;&atilde;o humana tem seu processo de racioc&iacute;nio prejudicado pela aten&ccedil;&atilde;o dividida na (tentativa de) realiza&ccedil;&atilde;o de m&uacute;ltiplas tarefas.</p>
