Abstract
The topic that I’m going to try here deals with the controversy that arises from the publication of the Babelia supplement on the current status of literary criticism, a situation defined by the crisis before the irruption of new media like the internet and the specialized blogs. I have collected and analyzed the collaborations listed in the monograph, the background of this controversy, the echo that it had and continues to have; also discussed the specificity of the blog and the function that you are taking and you can have for the literary criticism of the immediate future. My theory is that blogs can be a great way to exercise a literary criticism immediate and universal, but this may be missing a time and the realization that, regardless of the medium in which it appears, the criticism should be independent, fair and measured both in its tone, style and content. In the end, professionalism compared to arbitrariness.
