Abstract
Sportif olta balıkçılığı, son dönemlerde en popüler sporlardan biri konumuna gelmiştir. Ancak, doğadaki türlerin aşırı avcılık baskısı altında olması ve giderek kötüleşen çevre şartlarından dolayı, çoğu türün nesli tükenme tehlikesi ile karşı karşıyadır. Türkiye tatlı sularında doğal olarak bulunan ve büyüme performansı oldukça hızlı olan türlerin eğlence amaçlı sportif avcılıkta kullanımı ve doğal stokların desteklenmesi amacıyla üretimi, son dönemlerde yetiştiricililerin ilgisini çekmektedir. Bu çalışmada, bu türlerden biri olan Kocaağız balığının üretim teknikleri açıklanmaya çalışılmıştır
