Abstract
The purpose of this article is to analyse the lexical and
syntactic structures typical of crime novels. The conducted research
will make it possible to distinguish the lexical and syntactic matrix
of the genre, with the aim of checking whether the linear order of the
matrix-creating elements is aleatory or stable. The study focuses on
two dimensions: semantic and lexico-syntactic.
