Abstract
En este trabajo se ofrece una panorámica general acerca de la carne y el pescado como elementos fundamentales de la alimentación de los judíos en la España medieval. Para ello, se tratan diversas cuestiones, como las prescripciones alimentarias que la religión judía impone en relación con la carne y el pescado, el lugar que dictios alimentos ocupaban en la alimentación cotidiana de los judíos fiispanos, y la organización pública de la alimentación en las comunidades hispanohebreas de época medieval en cuanto afecta a la carne y al pescado.
This work is a general description about thíe meat and the fisfi, as fundamental elements of ttiejewish meal during the spanish l\Aiddle Ages. For that purpose, several questions are deait, such as the food prescriptions thatjewish religión imposes in relation to the meat and the fish; the rol that these food played in the daily meal of the spanish jewish, and the public organization of the food stuffs concernig the meat and the fish, in the spanish hebraic community during the Middie Ages.
