Abstract
El objetivo fue evaluar cuatro niveles de rastrojo de maÃz (RM) en dietas para ovinos: T15, T30, T45 y T60%, sobre fermentación ruminal, digestibilidad (D) y producción de metano. Diseño: cuadrado latino 4 x 4, con cuatro ovinos canulados en rumen y duodeno, y cuatro periodos de 14 dÃas. El alimento se ofreció al 2.2% del peso vivo en dos porciones dia-1. La concentración total de AGVs fue similar en T15, T30 y T45, pero mayor (P0.05) entre tratamientos, promediando 66.4%, 20.9% y 12.8% de acético, propiónico y butÃrico, respectivamente.
