Abstract

This article analyzes the application of remote sensing data for operational monitoring of hydrometeorological hazards, and estimation of their consequences on the territory of Perm region. The author shows the necessity of application of remote sensing data on the example of three problems in the study area. There are problems of monitoring of hydrological hazards in the period of spring high water, monitoring of the development of droughts and estimation of damage from hydrometeorological hazards for forest resources of the region.
