Abstract
In this paper, a research report is presented in which a methodological proposal for teaching the course “General Didactics” was designed, implemented and evaluated, systematizing the didactic categories — problem, objective, content, method, means, assessment and organization structure of educational teaching process — and developing a metacognitive reflection, essential for the teaching training process. A sample of 24 students in an undergraduate teaching program- childhood pedagogy in the Faculty of Education at the University of Antioquia (Medellin - Colombia) — was used. The qualitative and quantitative analyses reveal the efficacy of the methodological proposal within the systematization and metacognitive reflection objectives.
