Abstract
Por meio do protagonista Luís da Silva, do romance Angústia (1936), de Graciliano Ramos, é possível ver a relação pecado-culpa-castigo, em função de sua percepção do sistema capitalista como imoral. Moisés, um dos amigos de Luís, é personagem que aparece articulado a essa tensão no pensamento crispado do narrador: há conceitos antijudaicos nele, como a ligação “judeus-comunismo”, “judeus-capitalismo” e “judeus-ateísmo”. O ressentimento é consequência da opressão que Luís da Silva percebe em sua vida, na qual se vê impossibilitado de realizar um projeto de estabilidade/constância – em sentidos diversos.
