Abstract
A noção de Contratransferência Cultural trata das dificuldades de nos abstrairmos de nossas representações coletivas, para compreendermos outras formas discursivas. No texto, o autor discute os problemas encontrados quando trabalhamos com outros universos simbólicos. Essa contratransferência manifesta-se como defesa quando os universais da psicanálise se singularizam em outros espaços culturais. Se o método clínico não pode ser regido por normas institucionalizadas, o texto discute a possibilidade de aplicá-lo em outros universos discursivos.
