Abstract
This article presents the cost of plant protection products and their direct participation in the gross margin in horticultural crops and vegetables production of the selected group of organic farms. A small number of eligible plant protection products authorised for use in organic farming and their high prices mean that the owners of small, organic farms draw up their own biopreparations against plant diseases and pests. Estimating the average cost of production of these preparations requires research to develop recipes for their preparation and regulations for their use.
