Abstract
RESUMO Este artigo avalia a atual situação das associações de coleta seletiva existentes na cidade de Natal, abordando questões ambientais, econômicas, sociais, políticas, e suas condições de operação. A pesquisa foi desenvolvida por meio de um questionário, constando apenas de perguntas abertas feitas às associações, como, também, por consulta a materiais que trabalham os temas coleta seletiva e desperdício. Do estudo, constatou-se falta de incentivo governamental, péssimas condições de trabalho, instalações e equipamentos, impedindo o desenvolvimento do programa de coleta seletiva na cidade. SELECTIVE COLECTION ASSOCIATIONS´ ANALISIS – A STUDY OF CASE OF NATAL CITY ABSTRACT This article appraises the present situation of the selective collection associations of the city of Natal, with an approach of environmental, economical, social, political questions and the conditions of operation. The search was developed by a questionary, with only open questions, done to the associations, as well as the consult of materials that work the themes selective collection and wastfulness. Of the study, was evidenced the lack of governmental incentive, terrible work, installations and equipment conditions, obstructing the selective collection´s program development at the city.
