Abstract

Defendo a pertinência da proposta de fazer um estudo de aspectos discursivos constitutivos do projeto literário do romantismo indianista brasileiro, fundamentado em algumas categorias teóricas formuladas por D. Maingueneau em sua análise dos “discursos constituintes”. A base do “recorte material/textual” escolhido para a análise é constituída pelo “romance” Iracema, de José de Alencar, e por alguns artigos da crítica literária brasileira.
