Abstract
El sarcoma osteogénico parostal, es un tumor maligno, que se origina en la region yuxtacortical de los huesos largos y que presenta unas características clínicas, radiológicas y patológicas bien definidas. Es una lesión poco frecuente, que constituye del 1% al 1.7% de todos los tumores óseos primarios. Su pronóstico es considerablemente mejor que el observado en los osteosarcomas centrales, sin embargo algunos muestran un comportamiento muy agresivo.
